How Long will my appointment be?

•  Lash extentions can take anywhere from 1 1/2 - 2 hours for a new set.  You will be laying down with your eyes closed the entire procedure, you are required to remain still as we are carefully working around the eye area.

 

How should I prepare my lashes for the extensions?

• We would like you to arrive with a with freshly cleaned lashes..This removes oils ensuring the synthetic lashes adhere properly.  Remove contact lenses.  Please be aware that any chemical treatments should be done 48 hours before and or after your lash appointment, if not you will be at a high increase for a reaction.. We have an amazing track record for problem free lashes!

What are eyelash extensions?

• Eyelash extensions are synthetic lashes made from PBT Fibre that are applied to each individual natural lash with precision technique, giving your lashes more volume, thickness, length, and curl.. Women love eyelash extensions, because there is no more need to curl or apply mascara to your lashes with lash extensions.

 

I have sensitive eyes do I need a patch test?

• Yes.  I suggest everyone get a patch test, wether you have sensitive eyes or not, you can come in anytime before your appointment for about 20 mins and we can adhere a couple lashes on to your natural lashes.  We use quality adhesive, however people can have an allergic reaction to the adhesive, if you do, your full set of lash extensions will need to be removed, you can request to have a patch test done, or you will sign the waiver at your appointment stating you refused the patch testing. Eyes can become itchy red or swollen if you are allergic.. You might also wear lash extensions for 6 months with no problems and all of a sudden have an allergic reaction.. The number of these cases are very small, however ideally you would want to seek medical attention or seek an eye doctor, incase of infection or allergy, and have them removed.  Remember to leave 48 hours between chemical treatments.

 

How are eyelash extensions applied to my eyelashes?

     Eyelash extensions are applied using very fine tweezers, isolating a single natural lash and applying adhesive.

How Long do lash extensions last?

• Eyelash extensions will last up to 1 month with proper care, however you will need to come in for fills every 2-3 weeks, some people will be able to come every 3-4 weeks.. This really depends on how well you take care of your lashes, as well as your lashes natural fall out.  So each person is different, if they get too sparse by the time you come in for a fill or if they have grown out too far, you need to get a new set or remove them.

 

How do I keep my lashes looking great between fills?

• Lash extensions dont require too much fuss, your lash stylist will give you a lash brush after your appointment, so you can brush them whenever needed.  You will want to invest in our makeup remover as its formulated especially for your extensions, you need to be careful about what you put on your lashes as this can cause the adhesive to loosen and you will see more then normal lash fallout.  You will also want to invest in a shampoo and sealant, this will help the adhesive to stay strong, as well as giving your lashes a glossy shine keeping them looking new.  These little investments will last a while, and save you money in the long run, with out you coming back more frequently for fills.  We also carry mascara and eyeliner that is specially formulated for lash extensions.  Important to keep them looking great!

Are lash extensions bad for my natural lashes?

• No.  As long as your not pulling or rubbing them, this can cause your natural lashes to fall out, and may give you sparse lashes, if you feel you need your lashes off, contact your lash stylist for free removal. Damage is usually something caused by a lash technician who is not properly trained, we guarentee no problem lashes here!

What if I need to change or cancel an appointment that I booked?

• ​We require at least 12 hour notice to cancel or change appointments.  Full payment of missed appointment will be charged for appointments changed less then 12 hours and / or no shows.

I have very light colored eyelashes, can I still get lash extensions?

• Yes.  Please do not tint your lashes.

 

I have a picture of lashes I would like, can you make mine look like them?

• We can do our very best to provide you with a style and look you would like, however we can only work with the lashes you have and every set of lashes are customized specifically to you so no 2 eye lash extensions will ever be the same, and many factors depend on the finished look of your lashes.  Either way you will be very happy with your new set of lashes.
